Caverion focuses on life cycle solutions and profitability growth

Caverion Oyj focused its Capital Markets Day in Stockholm on the company's strategy and service offering, with a particular emphasis on life cycle solutions. The company confirmed that there are no changes to its previously communicated financial targets, market outlook, or guidance for 2014.

President and CEO Fredrik Strand highlighted the significance of life cycle solutions for Caverion's future success and its aim to achieve strategic targets for growth and profitability improvement. Caverion has recently developed a more commercial approach to its market offering, utilizing a matrix of service areas, disciplines, and client segments.

Presentations detailed Caverion's seven service areas and outlined actions taken to improve profitability in projects and services. The CFO provided an update on the company's financial performance. The day concluded with a site visit to Bactiguard's new production facility, for which Caverion supplied advanced clean room technology, demonstrating its expertise in technically demanding properties.

According to Strand, Caverion's competitive advantage lies in its life cycle solutions, which are central to its brand and operations. The growing demand for these solutions is driven by increasingly advanced and integrated building technologies. Megatrends such as energy efficiency requirements, digitalization, and fragmented markets favor Caverion's strategy.

The company's financial targets for the end of 2016, including an average annual revenue growth of over 10% and an EBITDA exceeding 6%, remain unchanged. Caverion also aims for negative working capital and to distribute at least 50% of its net profit as dividends and capital redemptions. The company is transitioning from a former financial holding model to a unified service and project corporation, focusing on common processes and tools across all countries.
