Caverion secures DKK 810 million transmission grid contract from Energinet
Caverion has renewed its framework agreement with Danish grid operator Energinet for high-voltage overhead line work, valued at DKK 810 million.
Caverion has signed a three-year framework agreement with Energinet, the Danish transmission system operator, to perform maintenance and investment work on the national electricity grid. Valued at DKK 810 million, the contract covers work on the 132 kV, 150 kV, and 400 kV overhead line networks, with an option to extend for two additional years.
As the lead contractor, Caverion will support the expansion and upkeep of critical infrastructure. Current projects include refurbishment work on key connections between Fraugde and Landerupgaard, as well as Asnæsværket and Hovegaard.
Energinet identified the need for specialized partners as the complexity of grid expansion grows alongside the electrification of society. For Caverion, the agreement secures a significant volume of work for its high-voltage division, which comprises more than 100 employees dedicated to substation and transmission line projects.
