Caverion strengthens security services by acquiring LukkoPro
Caverion Oyj has acquired Finnish company LukkoPro Oy, expanding its offering in smart security and locking services in Finland. The acquisition strengthens Caverion's position in access control and locking solutions.
Building services company Caverion Oyj has acquired Finnish security firm LukkoPro Oy. The deal, announced on November 30, 2022, is expected to enhance Caverion's capabilities in smart security and access control solutions within Finland.
The acquisition integrates LukkoPro's automated EasyKey key management services into Caverion's portfolio. Caverion stated the move is a strategic bolt-on acquisition aimed at bolstering its market presence in locking and access control, while also expanding its digital service offerings.
LukkoPro, founded in 1976, operates from six locations across Finland, including Oulu, Raahe, Ylivieska, Kokkola, Viitasaari, and Jyväskylä. In 2021, the company reported revenue of approximately EUR 5.6 million and employs around 35 people. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Caverion indicated that the acquisition will support its growth strategy and customer base expansion. It will also facilitate the wider market introduction of LukkoPro's digital key management services. The transaction was expected to be finalized on December 1, 2022.
