Caverion Finland has secured a contract with AI cloud company Nebius for the design and delivery of a substation for Nebius's new data centre in Mäntsälä, Finland. The contract is valued at approximately EUR 15 million and enhances Caverion's position in the data centre market.
The substation will serve Nebius's second data centre in Mäntsälä, a new 70-megawatt (MW) facility that will complement its existing 75 MW site. The accelerating growth of digital infrastructure is driving demand for new substation projects in Finland.
The substation acts as the data centre's critical connection to the electricity grid, ensuring the continuity of its operations. The project is scheduled for completion by the end of 2026.
