Caverion to Install Technical Systems in New Leipzig Hospital
Caverion will install ventilation, heating, and cooling systems in the new Central Building II of St. Georg Hospital in Leipzig. The contract is valued at approximately EUR 13.6 million.

Caverion has secured a contract worth approximately EUR 13.6 million to install technical systems for the new Central Building II of St. Georg Hospital in Leipzig. The project includes the delivery of ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.
The new Central Building II is set to become the most modern hospital construction in the German state of Saxony. The facility aims to set new benchmarks, particularly in its energy-efficient and sustainable technical building systems. The six-story building will span 39,000 square meters and will house an emergency center for children and adults, state-of-the-art laboratories, and inpatient wards.
Caverion's scope of work involves installing eleven ventilation systems with a total capacity of 100,000 m³/h, along with 76 recirculating cooling units. The company will also manage the complete heating and cooling distribution network for the new facility. Caverion's installation work is scheduled to continue until the end of 2028.
Manfred Simmet, CEO of Caverion Germany, highlighted the company's extensive experience in complex hospital projects, citing expertise in technical know-how, logistics for large construction sites, and workforce management.
