Caverion to Modernise Technical Systems at Messe Düsseldorf
Caverion Oyj has secured a contract with Messe Düsseldorf GmbH for the refurbishment and expansion of Exhibition Hall 9. The agreement covers the delivery of ventilation, cooling, sanitation, and compressed air systems.

Building services company Caverion Oyj has been awarded a contract by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH to modernise and expand Exhibition Hall 9. The value of the contract has not been disclosed.
Messe Düsseldorf is undertaking a phased redevelopment of its exhibition grounds until 2040. Caverion has previously participated in the modernisation of Exhibition Halls 10, 11, and 12. The project for Hall 9 includes the construction of a new functional building with entrance areas and conference facilities.
Once completed, the total floor area of Hall 9, including technical rooms, staff facilities, foyer, and bistro, will amount to approximately 15,000 square metres. Caverion will install four air handling units and 66 radial air diffusers, providing an airflow capacity of 544,000 m³/h. The company will also connect manifolds to the exhibition centre's chilled water network and refurbish the drinking water system.
Caverion's work on Hall 9 is scheduled to continue until October 2027. The company noted that installation work must be carried out without disrupting ongoing trade fairs and events, requiring careful planning and cross-disciplinary coordination.
