Cavotec Group extends global use of digital invoice solution

Cavotec Group, which develops automation and electrification solutions for ports and industrial facilities, has broadened the global deployment of its digital invoice processing system. The company has long utilized Modular's (formerly Heeros) digital solutions to manage its international invoice flow.

The system allows Cavotec's employees to process and approve invoices regardless of their time zone or location, significantly streamlining operations compared to traditional methods like emailing PDF invoices. This move aims to enhance internal efficiency and reduce manual handling.

"All the invoices we receive are converted into a digital form and documented into our system. Our employees can process and approve their invoices right in the system, no matter the time zone or place. It’s profoundly easier than for example sending pdf invoices around the world and waiting for a response to them through email," said Matt Pozsik, ERP Finance Manager at Cavotec Group.

Cavotec's extensive international presence, spanning multiple countries and time zones, necessitates efficient cross-border financial management. The adoption of a unified digital invoice system supports the company's strategy for operational efficiency and standardized financial processes.
