AI-focused robotics companies captured significant venture capital interest in the second quarter, with industrial humanoid robot developers and robot foundation model developers securing top positions by deal count, according to CB Insights. These sectors saw 20 and 15 deals, respectively, placing them among the most active markets.

Notable funding rounds included NEURA Robotics, which raised a $1.4 billion Series C for its AI-enabled collaborative robots, and Mind Robotics, which secured $400 million in Series B funding for its collaborative robot platform just a year after its founding.

The research firm also highlighted developments in the fintech sector, tracking companies recognized in the Money20/20 Awards. CB Insights' predictive signals identified several firms likely to raise additional capital. Taktile, flagged as poised for further funding, announced a $110 million Series C round shortly after the data cutoff.

Furthermore, winners of the 2025 Insurtech 50 list have collectively raised $1.1 billion over the past nine months. Investments have targeted areas like AI-enabled insurance operations and claims automation. CB Insights is now opening applications for its 2026 Insurtech 50 list.
