CBT Nuggets introduces AI-based IT query tool
CBT Nuggets has launched IT Trainerbot, a new feature designed to answer technical questions by leveraging the company's existing library of expert training content.

CBT Nuggets, an Oregon-based IT training provider, has unveiled IT Trainerbot, an AI-driven tool that provides answers to technical queries using the company's repository of expert-led training videos. The tool aims to reduce the burden on senior engineers by providing automated, accurate, and source-cited responses to team members.
Unlike general-purpose artificial intelligence models that rely on internet-wide datasets, IT Trainerbot restricts its responses to content verified by CBT Nuggets trainers. Each answer includes a direct link to the source video, allowing users to verify information and access deeper instruction on the specific technical challenge they are facing.
Chief Revenue Officer Shelly Galvin stated that the move is designed to help IT teams maximize their internal resources. By automating routine inquiries, the company intends to free up human experts for more complex tasks. Alongside the bot, the platform has introduced new pre- and post-course assessments and a feature allowing organizations to convert internal documentation into structured training modules.
The tool is currently available to users with CBT Nuggets Teams subscriptions across web and mobile platforms.
