CDTL Showcases E-Drive and EMB Technologies for Commercial Vehicles

CDTL showcased its latest technologies for commercial vehicles at the IAA Transportation 2026 fair in Hannover. Among the featured innovations were distributed electric drive axles (E-Drive) for heavy-duty vehicles and electromechanical braking systems (EMB).
The company aims to enhance the efficiency and performance of electric commercial vehicles. CDTL states that its E-Drive technology offers an integrated solution combining an electric motor, gearbox, and axle. The EMB system, in turn, allows for precise control of braking force and faster response times compared to traditional hydraulic systems.
At the trade fair, CDTL sought to demonstrate how its technologies can support vehicle manufacturers in their transition towards electric mobility. The showcased solutions are designed to facilitate the electrification process while offering significant advantages in terms of functionality and maintenance.
CDTL's presence at the event was in Hall 21, Stand D37, where technical details and integration possibilities with existing vehicle platforms were discussed.
