HOMESTEAD, Fla. – The Cedar Pointe by Lennar Homeowners Association (HOA) has completed the purchase of the community's clubhouse from developer Lennar for $5.934 million. This transaction transfers ownership of the central recreational and amenity facilities to the HOA, marking a significant milestone for the 345-home community.
The clubhouse serves as the centerpiece of the community's amenities, which include a swimming pool, fitness center, and tot lot. The acquisition is intended to give the homeowners' association greater responsibility for the future management and development of this key community asset.
Tarmi Hung, President of the Cedar Pointe Board, stated that the transaction represents an important moment. He emphasized that the transfer of ownership allows the HOA and its homeowners to take greater responsibility for the future of a crucial community resource. The Board approached the process carefully.
Veridian, the community management partner, assisted the HOA throughout the acquisition process, including financial analysis and preparations for the transition. Veridian CEO Yani Lopez Castillo noted that the completion of the deal is a significant step, placing an important community asset directly into the hands of the residents it serves.
