Celebree School Launches Month-Long Gratitude Program for Families

Baltimore-based Celebree School has launched the Generation Gratitude Project, a national campaign running throughout November. The project provides families with a 30-day challenge featuring simple, actionable activities meant to foster social-emotional development in young children. The curriculum includes tasks such as writing letters of appreciation and participating in local community service.

According to the company, early childhood development relies heavily on the repetition of prosocial behaviors. By practicing gratitude consistently, children build empathy, perspective-taking skills, and emotional regulation. Celebree School aims to move the concept of gratitude beyond classroom conversation into practical family habits.

In addition to home activities, Celebree students are producing 10,000 letters of appreciation for Operation Gratitude, a nonprofit serving military personnel and first responders. CEO Richard Huffman stated that the program is intended to encourage families to slow down and focus on community connection during the holiday season.
