Fashion house Celine has inaugurated a summer pop-up experience in Shanghai, running for five weeks and drawing inspiration from the French Riviera. Visitors are invited to the immersive event in the historic Zhangyuan area.

Fashion house Celine has opened a summer pop-up experience in Shanghai, located in the historic Zhangyuan district. For five weeks, starting April 10th, visitors can explore Celine's summer collection within a space designed to evoke the ambiance of the French Riviera.
The event's design is inspired by memories of Saint-Tropez and its Place des Lices. The space is divided into three distinct areas: a grove garden with Mediterranean vegetation, a playground offering pétanque and ice cream, and a café designed in a Parisian style. The aim is to create a relaxed and elegant summer day atmosphere.
The pop-up showcases Celine's summer collection of leather goods, accessories, and ready-to-wear items. The interior features wooden flooring and marine-inspired textiles. An upper level hosts four rooms dedicated to the themes of DREAM, TRAVEL, FEEL, and BREEZE, celebrating the brand's summery lifestyle.
Additionally, the event screens a selection of 1960s French films shot on the French Riviera, serving as a tribute to Celine's cinematic inspirations. The pop-up offers attendees an immersive journey into the brand's summer aesthetic.
