Cellectis Outlines 2026 Strategy and Clinical Catalysts

New York, NY โ€“ January 8, 2026 โ€“ Cellectis, a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing cell and gene therapies, today announced its strategic priorities and key catalysts expected for 2026.

The company's strategy centers on its allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy candidates, lasme-cel and eti-cel. For lasme-cel, being investigated for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), an interim analysis of the pivotal Phase 2 BALLI-01 trial is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026. This milestone follows promising Phase 1 data that showed a 68% overall response rate (ORR).

Regarding eti-cel, intended for relapsed/refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), Cellectis plans to present full Phase 1 NATHALI-01 trial data in the fourth quarter of 2026. This trial includes an assessment of low-dose interleukin-2 (IL-2) support to potentially enhance response rates and durability.

The company also confirmed ongoing collaborations, including one with AstraZeneca for novel cell and gene therapy development. Additionally, advancements are noted for cema-cel and ALLO-316, developed by Servier and Allogene respectively, with results for Iovance's PD-1-inactivated TIL therapy, IOV-4001, also anticipated in Q1 2026."

Cellectis management will participate in the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference from January 12-15, 2026. The company estimates its cash and cash equivalents will fund operations into the second half of 2027.
