Celsius Holdings Faces Lawsuit Over Alani Nu Drink Safety Allegations

Shareholder rights law firm Robbins LLP has filed a class action lawsuit against Celsius Holdings, Inc. The suit covers investors who purchased or acquired the company's securities between February 21, 2025, and June 3, 2026. The complaint alleges that Celsius Holdings misled investors regarding the safety of its Alani Nu drinks for young consumers.

The lawsuit claims the company marketed these drinks to minors, despite assurances it would not. Accusations include Celsius's failure to adequately disclose the cardiac risks associated with Alani Nu products. The situation escalated in April 2026 when distributors of the drinks faced a wrongful death lawsuit linked to a teenager's death, citing high caffeine content as a cause of cardiac issues.

Following this news, Celsius's stock price declined. Additionally, in June 2026, the Texas Attorney General announced an investigation into Celsius over allegations that the company markets high-caffeine drinks to children and teens.
