Centaurus Financial Supports Animal Rescue Efforts in Idaho
Centaurus Financial has donated $25,000 to Companions Animal Center in Idaho, supporting its animal welfare programs and facilitating the rescue of homeless dogs.
Centaurus Financial, an independent broker-dealer, has announced a $25,000 contribution to Companions Animal Center in Hayden, Idaho. The funds are designated to support the shelter's initiatives, including low-cost spay and neuter services, vaccination clinics, affordable veterinary care, and the Safe Haven program for pets of domestic violence victims.
The donation also serves as premier sponsorship for the animal center's annual "Tails at Daylight" fundraising event, scheduled for October 10 at the StanCraft Jet Center in Hayden. A portion of the proceeds will facilitate the transport of approximately 20 small, homeless dogs from Los Angeles shelters to Idaho, where Companions Animal Center will oversee their care and rehoming.
Centaurus Financial CEO Ron King cited the company's office in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and a company-wide affinity for animals as reasons for the support. "We believe in providing help to those who can't help themselves, and homeless animals certainly qualify," King stated.
Vicky Nelson, development director for Companions Animal Center, highlighted that last year's event raised over $128,000, with hopes to exceed that amount this year. She noted a regional shortage of small dogs needing homes. According to Nelson, every dollar raised directly supports the organization's "life-saving mission," providing homeless animals with care and a second chance.
