CenterLight Health System's Gala Raises Funds for Elderly Support Programs

CenterLight Health System hosted its first Be the Light Gala on October 12, 2026, in New York City, aiming to generate philanthropic support for its CenterLight Impact Fund. The fund focuses on enhancing the lives of participants in the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).

The event took place at Guastavino's and gathered donors, healthcare leaders, and community partners. Proceeds from the gala are designated to support programs that improve health, connection, and overall quality of life for individuals enrolled in CenterLight's PACE program.

During the evening, honorees included Victoria Schneps, founder of Schneps Media; George C.K. Liu, CEO of Coalition of Asian-American IPA; Sister Mary Anna Euring, a PACE participant and artist; and New York State Senator Gustavo Rivera. U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand was recognized with a video acceptance. PIX11 News anchor Monica Morales served as the master of ceremonies.

Tara Buonocore-Rut, President and CEO of CenterLight Health System, emphasized that effective healthcare extends beyond medical appointments to include elements like friendship and purpose, which the Impact Fund helps facilitate. A video featuring personal stories from PACE participants and staff was also premiered during the event.
