Central Bark Posts Record Third-Quarter Revenue

Central Bark, a national dog care franchise network, announced its third-quarter 2026 financial results, marking the highest revenue period in the company’s history. During the quarter, 71% of franchise locations recorded all-time high monthly revenues. For locations operating longer than 24 months, average unit volume surpassed $938,000, with year-to-date same-store sales rising by 9.8%.

The strong performance coincides with a leadership transition, following the appointment of Jason Perras as CEO in August. The company also debuted on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Expansion efforts remain active, including a new market entry in Athens, Georgia, and a record-setting performance in Poughkeepsie, New York, where revenue exceeded $1.7 million within two years of operation.

Systemwide sales reached $38.6 million for the trailing twelve months, supported by high member retention and the implementation of new point-of-sale and automated marketing tools for franchisees. The company is currently on track to exceed $40 million in systemwide sales by the end of 2026 as it pursues further expansion.
