New York – With the 2026 midterm elections on the horizon, The CEO Center of The Conference Board has issued a call to action for business leaders. The organization urges support for the integrity of the U.S. electoral process, the promotion of nonpartisan civic engagement, and respect for the rule of law and lawful election outcomes.
The center emphasizes that free, fair, secure, and accessible elections are fundamental to economic stability and the rule of law. Long-term business investment and economic growth depend on a predictable political environment and stable institutions.
