Cerebras to Supply Gimlet Labs with 100 MW AI Capacity

Cerebras Systems, a maker of artificial intelligence hardware, has signed a deal to provide Gimlet Labs with 100 megawatts of AI capacity.

The agreement will see Cerebras deliver several of its Wafer Scale Engine (WSE) chips, designed for AI workloads, to Gimlet Labs. These chips aim to significantly accelerate the training and inference of AI models.

Deliveries are slated to commence in phases by the end of 2024. Gimlet Labs will leverage the new capacity to build advanced AI applications, potentially enhancing its market standing.

Cerebras' technology utilizes large silicon wafers containing thousands of processing cores. This architecture enables high performance and efficiency for AI tasks requiring substantial data volumes and computational power.
