Cervoz Releases M.2 SSD for Wireless Card Slots
Taiwan-based industrial computer component supplier Cervoz has introduced a new M.2 2230 PCIe Gen4 x2 SSD, designed to utilize slots typically reserved for wireless network cards.

Taiwan-based industrial computer and embedded component supplier Cervoz has launched its new T445/T455 series of solid-state drives (SSDs) featuring an M.2 2230 A+E Key form factor. These storage solutions are designed to capitalize on M.2 slots, often found in embedded systems, that are initially intended for wireless network cards but remain unused.
The new SSDs utilize a PCIe Gen4 x2 interface, delivering maximum sequential read speeds of 1865 MB/s and sequential write speeds of 1740 MB/s. This approach to storage expansion provides a valuable option for systems with limited alternative expansion capabilities.
Standard capacity configurations for the T445 model range from 128GB to 1024TB. The T455 model, which includes additional over-provisioning (OP), offers capacities from 120GB to 960GB. Both drives support SLC write caching, end-to-end data protection, and thermal throttling.
Optional features available to customers include wide-temperature operating ranges and write protection capabilities. Cervoz aims to provide adaptable and efficient storage solutions for industrial applications.
