Hilden, Germany – CETA Testsysteme GmbH has begun a phased discontinuation of its older CETATEST x15 series of leak testing equipment. The company is replacing these units with its new fourth-generation CETATEST x25 series, which has been gradually introduced since 2023.

Standard configurations of the CETATEST 515, 715, and 815 series can still be ordered until March 15, 2024. The newer x25 series offers significantly enhanced features, including standard equipment like pre-fill, controlled filling, and pulsing functions, along with an Ethernet interface, which were previously optional. These devices also feature a larger 7-inch touchscreen display and an improved AD converter.

The CETATEST 825, designed for differential pressure testing, was launched in 2022. The CETATEST 525 and CETATEST 725 models, intended for testing small volumes and detecting larger leak rates, have been available since 2023. The new series comes standard with DAkkS-accredited calibration and a three-year warranty.

CETA Testsysteme GmbH has been manufacturing industrial leak and flow testing equipment for over 35 years. The company assures that service, repairs, and spare parts for the discontinued x15 series will be provided long-term. It also plans to phase out older series of flow testing equipment throughout the current year.
