CETA releases leak tester for small volumes
CETA Testsysteme GmbH has launched the CETATEST 515 differential pressure leak tester, specifically designed for precise testing of small volumes like miniature valves and microswitches.

HILDEN, Germany – CETA Testsysteme GmbH has developed the CETATEST 515 differential pressure leak tester. The instrument is engineered for leak testing of the smallest volumes, including miniature valves, microswitches, sensors, and keypads, using compressed air.
The device features specialized functions, such as "High Speed Druckverlust" (high-speed pressure loss) for components requiring a rapid testing cycle. The "Verschlossenes Prüfteil mit hoher Auflösung" (sealed test part with high resolution) variant can detect extremely small volume differences (starting from 0.03 ml) with process reliability, suitable for parts that cannot be filled internally.
The newly developed "Druckanstieg" (pressure rise) variant of the CETATEST 515 offers a 50% larger measurement signal compared to the previous CETATEST 815 model. Additionally, previously external components, such as shut-off valves and primary pressure monitoring, have been integrated into the tester for a more compact design.
The tester comes standard with 64 programs and RS-232 and digital I/O interfaces, with an optional Profibus interface available. Measurement data acquisition and device control are possible via the CETA Soft 2G software. CETA Testsysteme GmbH exhibited the device at the CONTROL 2013 trade fair.
