The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) presented its 2026 industry awards on Monday at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. The top honors for design went to Rachel Scott, named American Womenswear Designer of the Year for Diotima, and Ralph Lauren, who received the American Menswear Designer of the Year award.
The ceremony recognized various segments of the industry, naming Ana Khouri as the American Accessory Designer of the Year and Colleen Allen as the Google Shopping American Emerging Designer of the Year. Other notable honorees included Peter Marino for the Fashion Icon Award and Gap Inc., which received the Innovation Award.
