CFMoto, a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer, has announced that the "Romanian Champion Edition" of its 450MT model will begin online pre-sales in late August through its official app and mini-program. The motorcycle is priced at 30,580 Chinese yuan (approximately $4,200 USD). Customers who place pre-orders will receive a complimentary set of original 450MT front and rear crash bars, valued at 598 yuan.

The introduction of this special edition follows CFMoto's success at the 23rd Red Bull Romanian Hard Enduro competition, held from July 28 to August 1 in Sibiu, Romania. The five-day event, which included a city obstacle course and four days of mountain off-road riding covering over 600 kilometers, traditionally sees a completion rate below 50 percent.

CFMoto riders secured victories in all three categories: Adventure Ultimate, Adventure Core, and Adventure Lite. Brand ambassador Mario Román won the Ultimate class, and Chinese rider He Guishu claimed victory in the Lite class, becoming the first Chinese champion in the event's history. The motorcycles used in the competition were modified versions of the production 450MT, equipped with CFMoto's self-developed 449.5cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine.

The 450MT Champion Edition features the same 449.5cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree crankshaft. It produces a maximum power of 32.5 kW (at 8500 rpm) and a maximum torque of 44 Nm (at 6250 rpm). The bike is equipped with adjustable KYB inverted front forks and a central rear shock absorber. Braking is handled by a 320mm single disc with a four-piston caliper at the front and a 240mm single disc with a floating caliper at the rear. ABS and TCS are standard and can be deactivated. A 5-inch curved TFT display supports Bluetooth connectivity and phone screen mirroring.

The 450MT Champion Edition will feature the same color scheme used by Mario Román. The 450MT model has consistently held over 60 percent market share in Romania. CFMoto previously presented He Guishu with his winning race bike in Kunming and announced plans to establish the world's first CFMoto "Champion Store" in his hometown.
