CFMOTO 675SR-R Selected as Official Motorcycle for 2027 WorldWCR

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMOTO has reached an agreement with the FIM and Dorna WSBK Organization to designate its 675SR-R model as the official motorcycle for the FIM Women's Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) beginning with the 2027 season. This agreement is significant as it represents the first instance of a Chinese manufacturer supplying a motorcycle for an FIM World Championship-level one-make series.

The WorldWCR, established in 2024, is the premier world-level road racing championship created exclusively for female riders. As a one-make series, all competitors will use identical motorcycles, focusing competition on rider skill and validating the machine's performance. The series operates under the broader WorldSBK umbrella.

The CFMOTO 675SR-R is powered by the company's internally developed 675cc liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine, producing a peak output of 70 kW (95 hp). The production model has undergone competitive testing in the British Superbike Championship (BSB), achieving a podium finish in its debut season, becoming the first Chinese-built production motorcycle to do so.

Development of the 675SR-R involved CFMOTO's technical partner in Moto2 and Moto3, the Aspar-team, contributing to the production model's track capabilities. CFMOTO aims to leverage its racing performance to influence global perceptions of the Chinese motorcycle industry.

The 2027 WorldWCR season will feature the 675SR-R as the sole model. CFMOTO will provide comprehensive technical support, including race bike preparation, parts supply, and an on-site technical team for the duration of the championship.
