Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMOTO has entered into an agreement for its 675SR-R sportbike to become the official motorcycle for the FIM Women's World Championship of Road Racing (WorldWCR) beginning with the 2027 season. This agreement signifies a milestone, designating CFMOTO as the first Chinese manufacturer to supply bikes for a FIM world championship-level one-make series.

Established in 2024, WorldWCR is the premier global road racing championship exclusively for female riders. As a one-make series, all competitors race identical motorcycles, emphasizing rider skill while showcasing the machines' performance. The championship operates under the umbrella of the Dorna WSBK Organization (DWO).

The 675SR-R is powered by CFMOTO's in-house developed 675cc liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine, producing a peak output of 70 kW (95 hp) at 11,000 rpm. The motorcycle's racing capabilities have been tested over two seasons in the British Superbike Championship (BSB), where it achieved a podium finish in its debut season, making it the first series-production motorcycle manufactured in China to reach the BSB podium.

The racing DNA of the 675SR-R also stems from its co-development with Aspar, CFMOTO's technical partner in Moto2 and Moto3. Asp riders and the technical team were heavily involved in the testing and development phases, directly contributing to the production model's track performance. CFMOTO aims to reshape perceptions of the Chinese motorcycle industry globally through these racing efforts.

The 2027 WorldWCR season will see the 675SR-R participate extensively in the premier women's motorcycle racing championship. CFMOTO will provide comprehensive technical support, including race bike preparation, spare parts supply, and on-site technical personnel.
