CFMOTO 675SR-R to be Official Motorcycle of WorldWCR from 2027

Chinese motorcycle manufacturer CFMOTO has agreed with the FIM and Dorna WSBK Organization to supply its 675SR-R model as the official racing motorcycle for the FIM Women's Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) from the 2027 season. This agreement marks a significant milestone, as it is the first time a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer has been appointed an official supplier for an FIM World Championship.

The WorldWCR, established in 2024, is the first-ever world circuit racing championship exclusively designed for female riders. As a 'spec series,' all riders compete on identical motorcycles, testing their skill while validating the bikes' performance. The WorldWCR is one of four categories within the WorldSBK ecosystem.

The 675SR-R's production version is powered by a 675cc, liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine developed in-house by CFMOTO. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 70 kW (95 hp) at 11,000 rpm and a peak torque of 70 Nm at 8,250 rpm. The motorcycle has already demonstrated its racing pedigree over two seasons in the British Superbike Championship (BSB), achieving a podium finish in its debut season.

For the 2027 season, CFMOTO will provide a comprehensive technical support system for the WorldWCR, including race bike preparation, spare parts supply, and an on-site technical team. The series participation is part of CFMOTO's strategy to leverage track performance to reshape global perceptions of China's motorcycle industry.
