CFX Completes Expansion of Wrong-Way Driving Detection System
The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) has expanded its Wrong-Way Driving Detection and Prevention System to cover 100% of its off-ramps outside of active construction zones. The system is now operational at 102 ramps.

The system now covers 100% of CFX's off-ramps, excluding those within active construction areas. This brings the total number of operational ramps equipped with the system to 102.

The WWDD system utilizes cameras and advanced sensors to detect vehicles entering ramps in the wrong direction. Upon detection, the system is designed to immediately alert both the errant driver and other road users.
