Changan Automobile reports 233,800 unit sales in October
Changan Automobile recorded 233,800 vehicle sales in October, driven by a 18% increase in new energy vehicle (NEV) deliveries.

Changan Automobile reported total sales of 233,800 vehicles for October 2026. The performance was supported by significant growth in the new energy vehicle sector, which reached 140,500 units, representing an 18% year-over-year increase.
International expansion remained a major component of the company’s volume, with overseas sales reaching 102,400 units, a 77.3% jump compared to the previous year. This reflects the company's ongoing strategy to increase its market share outside of the Chinese domestic market.
Within the domestic brand portfolio, Qiyuan sold 63,648 units, aided by the performance of the Q06 model. Other divisions contributed to the total, with Deepal delivering 32,602 vehicles, Avatr reporting 7,056 deliveries, and Kaicene contributing 18,800 units.
The October results highlight the company's reliance on its electric vehicle segment to offset broader market volatility. Changan continues to scale its varied sub-brands as it attempts to maintain competitive pricing in the domestic Chinese automotive sector.
