Changan Outlines New European Growth Phase at Mondial de l'Auto 2026
Changan Automobile unveiled its new NEVO model series and expanded European strategy at Mondial de l'Auto 2026, planning to enhance local capabilities and powertrain options.

Changan Automobile has outlined its next phase of European strategy at the Mondial de l'Auto 2026 event in Paris. The company introduced the new CHANGAN NEVO model series and announced plans to broaden its powertrain offerings and bolster local research, design, and customer service capabilities.
The NEVO series is built upon core values of refined design, shared comfort, and enjoyable technology. The CHANGAN NEVO Q05 made its European debut at the auto show, with market launches anticipated in Spain and Italy during the first quarter of 2027. Future additions to the NEVO line, such as the CHANGAN NEVO Q06, aim to provide a wider range of intelligent and comfortable mobility solutions for European families.
Changan's expansion of its European product portfolio is part of a broader strategy that integrates new model launches with the development of local expertise. The company has maintained a presence in Europe since 2001, with a design center in Italy and an R&D hub in the UK. The objective is to build a local ecosystem encompassing research, development, services, and potential future production.
Already available in Europe are the all-electric CHANGAN DEEPAL S05 and S07, alongside the DEEPAL S05 PHEV. The S07 PHEV is slated for launch in key European markets within 2024. Changan's European brand and product lineup also includes AVATR, in addition to the DEEPAL and NEVO series.
