Changan Qiyuan reaches one million cumulative vehicle sales
Changan Qiyuan, an electric vehicle sub-brand of Chinese automaker Changan Auto, announced it has achieved a cumulative sales total of one million vehicles in three years.

Chinese automaker Changan Auto announced on September 24 that its electric vehicle sub-brand, Changan Qiyuan, has surpassed the milestone of one million cumulative vehicle sales within its first three years of operation. This achievement underscores the brand's rapid growth in the competitive automotive market.
In August, the company reported global deliveries of 45,885 vehicles, with its AQ series experiencing a year-on-year sales increase of 103.1%. This strong performance indicates growing consumer demand for Changan Qiyuan's electric and hybrid offerings.
The announcement coincides with the launch of the brand's new mid-size SUV, the Q06, on September 23. The Q06 is available in both fully electric and range-extended variants, with pricing ranging from 139,900 to 169,900 yuan (approximately $19,300 to $23,500 USD).
Changan Qiyuan has been a key component of Changan Auto's strategy to accelerate its electrification efforts. Reaching one million sales in under three years highlights the brand's increasing market penetration and customer acceptance.
