Changshan Tourism Records 22.8 Percent Increase in Visitors

Changshan County reported 503,000 tourist visits during the 2026 National Day holiday period. This figure represents a 22.8 percent increase compared to the same period in the previous year.

The increase in visitor numbers is attributed to the local government’s strategy of promoting rural landscapes and cultural events. By focusing on seasonal activities and traditional celebrations, the county aimed to capture a growing demographic of domestic travelers seeking experiences outside major urban hubs.

The influx of visitors provides a boost to the regional economy. Official reports suggest that consistent marketing efforts regarding local cultural heritage and accessible outdoor tourism have been effective in driving this growth.
