Chase opens new Dallas airport lounge featuring Texas whiskey bar
Chase is expanding its airport lounge network with a new 18,000-square-foot facility at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, opening July 16. The lounge includes the network's first dedicated whiskey lounge.

Chase is set to open its newest airport lounge at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) on July 16, marking a significant expansion in its premium travel offerings. The 18,000-square-foot facility, accessible to Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmembers, is designed to provide a localized experience, reflecting the distinct character of the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
Located post-security in Terminal D, the lounge is strategically positioned in a key market for Chase, which reports nearly 3 million customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The space aims to go beyond typical airport amenities, incorporating local design elements and offering a variety of services including a full-service bar, private nursing rooms, showers, and reservable rest pods.
Complementing the design, the lounge's food and beverage program emphasizes local flavors. Chase partnered with Dallas-based Encina for a menu inspired by Texas ingredients, featuring dishes like blue corn butterscotch pancakes for breakfast and slab bacon with cheddar grits for lunch. Coffee is sourced from Fort Worth's Cherry Coffee, and the beverage program includes regional beers, cocktails, and wines curated by Parcelle.
A significant new feature is the lounge's dedicated 40-seat whiskey lounge, the first of its kind in the Chase Sapphire Lounge network. This space will offer a curated selection of Texas whiskeys, guided tastings, and a tableside whiskey cart. Uniquely, it will also feature televisions, which are otherwise absent in Chase lounges, to accommodate regional sports viewing.
Beyond food and drink, the DFW lounge is piloting other new features. These include complimentary 15-20 minute mini facials and a partnership with Peloton, offering guided stretching and meditation routines accessible via guests' mobile devices. Chase plans to roll out some of these wellness features to other lounges in its network.
