ChemDAQ and AHS Partner to Expand Chemical Vapor Monitoring in Canadian Healthcare
ChemDAQ and Associated Health Systems Inc. (AHS) have partnered to bring continuous chemical vapor monitoring solutions to Canadian healthcare facilities. The collaboration aims to enhance worker safety in medical device reprocessing departments.
ChemDAQ, a provider of hazardous gas monitoring solutions, has announced a partnership with Associated Health Systems Inc. (AHS), a Canadian distributor of medical devices and equipment. This collaboration will expand access to ChemDAQ's continuous chemical vapor monitoring systems across Canadian healthcare organizations.
The partnership merges ChemDAQ's expertise in monitoring hazardous chemical vapors with AHS's extensive experience in providing safety solutions to Canadian healthcare settings. AHS will offer ChemDAQ's sensor technology and continuous monitoring systems for hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), peracetic acid (PAA), and ethylene oxide (EtO) to its clients.
Together, the companies aim to provide medical device reprocessing (MDR) departments with real-time data to help staff understand their work environment and mitigate risks associated with chemical exposure. ChemDAQ emphasized that staff safety should be monitored with the same rigor as patient safety.
The partnership will be showcased at the Canadian Association of Medical Device Reprocessing (CAMDR) 2026 conference in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador. ChemDAQ and AHS will exhibit together and conduct a joint presentation on chemical exposure risks and staff protection measures in reprocessing areas.
