Chinese automaker Chery announced the market launch of its 2027 Fengyun A9L sedan on August 7. The vehicle, which combines a gasoline engine with electric power, is available in several trims, with limited-time introductory pricing starting at 139,900 yuan.

The base model, 260 PRO, is offered at an introductory price of 139,900 yuan, down from its regular price of 149,900 yuan. The 260 MAX trim is priced at 156,900 yuan during the promotional period, compared to its standard price of 166,900 yuan. The top-tier 260 ULTRA model has an introductory price of 174,900 yuan (regular price 184,900 yuan), while the all-wheel-drive ULTRA version is available for 197,900 yuan (regular price 207,900 yuan).

The Fengyun A9L measures 5018mm in length, 1965mm in width, and 1500mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm. It features a drag coefficient of 0.23 Cd. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5T Kunpeng hybrid engine, delivering a maximum power of 115kW and 220N·m of torque. The car offers an electric-only range of 260km and a combined range exceeding 2000km.

Advanced driver-assistance systems are included, such as city Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) and support for over 300 parking scenarios. The interior boasts a 15.6-inch high-definition central display powered by a Qualcomm 8255 automotive-grade chip. The audio system features 23 speakers with a total output of 1080W.
