China-CEEC SME Forum focuses on industrial cooperation in Cangzhou
The 7th China-CEEC SME Cooperation Forum in Cangzhou addressed trade integration, AI ecosystem development, and logistics framework improvements.

Held on October 26–27, the 7th China-CEEC (Cangzhou) SME Cooperation Forum convened industry leaders and officials to formalize trade and service frameworks between China and Central and Eastern European (CEE) nations. The event introduced new initiatives for provincial AI service ecosystems and strategic logistics cooperation between the participating regions.
Key structural developments included the establishment of the Cangzhou Chamber of Commerce for Economic and Trade Cooperation with CEE, designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in cross-border ventures. The forum featured specialized tracks focusing on zero-carbon energy equipment, industrial manufacturing, and cross-border business matching.
International firms such as Cargill attended to discuss operational synergies, highlighting the impact of Huanghua Port’s infrastructure on logistics costs. According to company vice president Olivier Salzgeber, the forum facilitated direct dialogue with potential partners regarding local circular economy models. Chinese officials reaffirmed a commitment to strengthening these strategic ties ahead of the 2027 anniversary of the cooperation platform.
