The organizing committee expressed deep regret for the unexpected event and its impact. "This is an unforeseen incident that the race committee and no one else wished for," the statement read. "We offer our deepest apologies for this accident and the shock and impact it has caused."
Condolences were extended to driver Oliver Millroy (car #91) and other involved competitors, with wishes for their speedy recovery. Special thanks and respect were given to driver Loek Hartog, who was the first to arrive at the scene and provide assistance.
