China launches Yaogan-51 satellite trio from Xichang
China has successfully deployed three Yaogan-51 remote sensing satellites using a Long March 2C rocket for scientific and environmental research.
A Long March 2C carrier rocket launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center on November 5 at 23:58 local time, successfully placing three Yaogan-51 satellites into their intended orbits.
The rocket, developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, is a two-stage liquid-propellant vehicle designed for both single and multi-satellite deployment missions. The platform is frequently utilized by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation to build and maintain orbital constellations.
The mission is officially tasked with conducting scientific experiments and monitoring the electromagnetic environment. This flight marks the 675th mission of the Long March rocket family.
