China Post EMS announced on July 9 that tracking services for mail carrying college admission letters are now active. Students can check the status of their letters via China Post EMS's official channels, including its website, mobile application, and WeChat official account, as well as through Alipay's mini-programs.

To track a letter, users need to provide the mail tracking number, or their exam admission ticket number or student ID. By registering as an EMS member with their mobile number, students can receive automatic notifications about the dispatch and delivery of their admission letters. If no information appears in the search results, it indicates the letter has not yet been sent or the provided numbers are not yet associated. Inquiries can be directed to the service hotline 11183.

Strict identity verification is required for signing for the letters. Both the student and any authorized recipient must present valid identification. Students also need to show their exam admission ticket. An authorized recipient must additionally present their own identification.

China Post emphasized that delivery personnel will contact the recipient before delivery, and students should ensure their phones are accessible. Admission letters are handled with priority through a "green channel," receiving specialized processing. The letters are sealed in distinct red envelopes, and during rainy seasons, they are further protected with transparent waterproof bags.
