China's National Data Bureau (NDB) has reported that over 126,000 high-quality datasets have been established nationwide, with a total volume exceeding 1815 petabytes (PB). This initiative is aimed at providing robust support for the nation's artificial intelligence development.

According to the latest figures released in August, the quantity of high-quality datasets has seen a substantial increase of over 89% compared to the end of the first quarter of this year. High-quality datasets are defined as collections of data that have undergone processing, such as collection and refinement, making them suitable for direct use in developing and training AI models and enhancing their performance.

Since its launch in April, the National Data Management Service System has released more than 1700 datasets, contributing to the growing scale of data supply in China. Additionally, the recent China International Big Data Industry Expo featured a "Dataset Market" where 95 data companies showcased 253 data products, fostering more precise connections between data providers and users.
