China Successfully Launches Tianlian II-06 Satellite

China announced on July 7th the successful launch of the Tianlian II-06 satellite from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center. The launch utilized a Long March-3B carrier rocket, and the satellite successfully entered its predetermined orbit.

The satellite is designated to provide data relay and measurement and control services for crewed spacecraft, such as space modules and space stations. Its responsibilities also include relaying data and providing measurement and control services for mid-to-low Earth orbit resource satellites and support for spacecraft launches.

This mission marked the 658th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets. The announcement was reported by CCTV News.
