China to Centralize Reusable Rocket Testing Under State Control
China will implement unified state control over tests for reusable rockets, requiring all related experiments to be conducted on government-led platforms.

China is set to centralize the oversight of tests involving reusable rockets, mandating that all such experiments be conducted on state-led platforms. This directive was announced by Jiangsu Universe Qiankun Aerospace Technology Group during their mid-year work conference in July.
The company affirmed its commitment to operating in compliance with these new industry regulations. The conference also reviewed the group's performance in the first half of the year and outlined expansion plans. These include enhancing testing capabilities at an existing base and developing a network of testing platforms through cooperation with six regional governments.
This move follows China's recent successful recovery of the first stage of its Long March 10B rocket. The recovery in July marked the nation's first controlled vertical landing of a rocket stage and a global first using a net-based recovery method, highlighting advances in the country's reusable rocket technology.
