China Unicom, a major Chinese telecommunications provider, has announced that its electronic SIM (eSIM) services will now support all phone models that have received network access certification. The list of supported devices will be updated as new models become available on the market.

The expansion includes a wide range of smartphone brands and models, such as various new iPhones and Huawei devices, alongside offerings from OPPO, Honor, Samsung, and Lenovo. This move aims to provide broader access to eSIM technology for consumers across different device ecosystems.

In conjunction with the service expansion, China Unicom is introducing a "tasting season" promotion for users purchasing newly released Huawei and Apple phones this month. The campaign offers new eSIM subscribers complimentary benefits, including domestic data allowances, international roaming, and international data packages.

The company stated that over 20,000 of its own service centers nationwide are now equipped to handle eSIM service applications. China Unicom plans to continue expanding its list of compatible devices and streamlining the application process to enhance user convenience.
