China-U.S. Youth Delegation Explores Rural Development in Kunming
A delegation of young people from China and the United States visited Kunming, Yunnan Province, from July 15-17. The visit focused on exploring rural development and fostering friendly exchange between the two countries.
A joint delegation of young people from China and the United States visited Kunming, Yunnan Province, from July 15 to 17, to observe recent developments in rural areas within China's ethnic minority regions.
The exchange program, co-hosted by China International Communications Group (CICG) Center for the Americas and the U.S.-based International Student Conferences, ran from July 3 to July 23, encompassing locations in both China and the United States.
During their stay in Kunming, the participants experienced the culture of ethnic minorities at the Yunnan Ethnic Village. They also engaged in discussions on the future of sustainable development at Yunnan University. The itinerary included visits to sites such as the Laoyuhe National Wetland Park and the Dounan Flower Market.
The initiative aimed to enhance mutual understanding between young Chinese and American citizens and strengthen amiable relations through shared experiences and dialogue.
