China-US Youth Exchange Convenes 170 Young People Across Shandong and Beijing

The Future Makers 2026 program has brought together 170 young individuals from leading universities in China and the United States, convening in the regions of Shandong and Beijing. This initiative, spanning China's APEC host year of 2026, is designed to foster connections through culture, innovation, and dialogue, aiming to strengthen bilateral relations.
Participants have engaged with a diverse range of topics, exploring everything from 2,500-year-old Confucian thought to contemporary advancements in robotics, including humanoid robots. The program's objective is to cultivate understanding and collaboration among the younger generation.
Emphasis has been placed on academic and technological exchange throughout the program. Youth attendees have participated in discussions and workshops focused on enhancing comprehension of both the cultural and technological landscapes of China and the U.S.
