The total box office revenue for China's 2026 National Day film period, running from October 1 to October 7, exceeded 500 million yuan (approximately $68.6 million) as of 5:01 PM on October 3. The top-grossing films so far are "Detective vs. Detectives" (Shen Tan Zhi Hen Ji), "What the Wife Means" (Shen Me Yi Si Fu Qi), and "Welcome to Dragon Restaurant" (Huan Ying Lai Long Can Guan).

Notably, Marvel's "Avengers: Endgame" was re-released in China on September 25 and has become one of the top five highest-grossing films of the holiday period. This re-release, featuring approximately four minutes of new footage, marks the film's first theatrical run in mainland China in seven years.
