China's Automotive Trade Surges in July, Driven by Exports
China's total automotive trade value reached $32.33 billion in July, a 29.4% year-on-year increase. Exports saw significant growth, while imports declined.

China's total automotive trade value reached $32.33 billion in July, marking a 29.4% increase compared to the same month last year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
The value of the country's automotive exports amounted to $28.76 billion, a substantial rise of 40.4% year-on-year. In contrast, the value of imports decreased by 20.6% to $3.57 billion.
Cumulatively, from January to July, China's total automotive trade value stood at $197.06 billion, representing a 26.1% increase over the same period in the previous year. During this period, exports grew by 34.2%, while imports saw a decline of 13.3%.
