China's automotive exports exceeded one million units for the month of July, continuing a robust growth trajectory. This marks the second consecutive month that export volumes have surpassed this significant threshold.

In July, China exported a total of 1.043 million vehicles, an increase of 81.3% compared to the same period last year. Notably, the export of electric vehicles surged by 145.5% year-on-year, reaching 553,000 units. Electric vehicles have now accounted for over 50% of total exports for two consecutive months.

For the first seven months of 2026, the total value of China's vehicle exports reached $110.8 billion, a 55% increase year-on-year. In July alone, the value of vehicle exports stood at $19 billion, up 60% year-on-year and 4% from the previous month.

Industry analysts are closely monitoring China's automotive sector as its export performance demonstrates significant strength. This sustained growth solidifies China's position as a major global player in vehicle production and export.
