China's automobile export value reached $110.8 billion during the first seven months of 2026, marking a significant 55% year-on-year increase. This data was shared by Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), citing figures from the General Administration of Customs.

The overall goods trade export value for China during the same period was $2,523.7 billion, an 18% increase. In July alone, automobile exports amounted to $19 billion, up 60% from the previous year.

Exports of automotive parts and accessories reached $60.7 billion from January to July, showing an 8% year-on-year growth. Cui Dongshu highlighted that the growth rate for parts exports is slower than for complete vehicles and urged Chinese parts manufacturers to align with domestic vehicle manufacturers' development and reduce reliance on Western aftermarket systems.

Motorcycle exports totaled $13.4 billion in the January-July period, an increase of 26%. Electric motorcycle exports saw substantial growth, while the export of gasoline-powered motorcycles experienced a slowdown attributed to high fuel prices.
